**About the Company**:
Supreme 2019 Limited has been a comprehensive modern home design and installation service provider since 2019 that focuses on kitchen decoration services and drives the development of bars, wardrobes, vanities and other related sectors, forming a diversified industrial pattern. Currently, we are seeking to hire a bookkeeper to join the team.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions in the accounting system.
- Process invoices, bills, and payments.
- Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding payments, and manage collections.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure records align with bank balances.
- Preparing and generating financial statements, such as income statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with budget preparation and monitor expenses to stay within budget.
- Provide financial forecasts to aid in decision-making.
- Provide monthly, quarterly, or annual reports for management review.
- Assisting the external accountant in preparing End of Year Reports
- Analysing financial reports using ledgers, account books and accounting software packages such as Xero
- Preparing and filing PAYE and GST returns
- Verifying recorded transactions
- Reporting to management regularly
**The minimum qualification and work experience requirements**:
- Relevant NZQF Level 4 OR
- At least three years of relevant work experience
**Other s**kills required**:
- Due to the fact the company has 30 plus migrant workers on work visas (primarily from China, and English is not required as per their visa requirements), you will need to be able to effectively communicate with migrant workers, regarding the job they have completed, issuing correct invoices, and other work-related payments.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Xero).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
