**He angitutanga | About the role**

The Fast-track Approvals Act 2024 requires DOC to provide advice to decision makers across a range of functions within specified statutory timeframes.

We are standing up a Fast-track Team to manage the workflows for projects in the Fast-track process. This is a unique opportunity to join a newly established team focussed on delivering our critical permissions work in a high paced environment.

Leveraging your expertise in previous regulatory consenting roles (Conservation, RMA, or other regulator contexts), you will provide quality responses to Fast-track proposals. Collaborating with teams throughout DOC, you will co-ordinate the input and advice to ensure conservation values are represented and the expert panel have all relevant information to inform their decision making. You will also have cross agency collaboration opportunities involved in this work (including the EPA and MFE).

- Experience working with consenting and/or regulatory processes: particularly being comfortable navigating policy and legislative settings.
- Experience analysing a range of information to contribute to high quality reports and provide succinct recommendations for decision makers.
- Organised with the ability to work effectively and deliver within statutory timeframes across a high-volume caseload.

The salary range for this position **$68,535- $86,423**with the starting salary of the successful applicants being based on their relevant skills and experience.
