**Silverstream Health Centre** provides a full family healthcare service to residents of Silverstream and the wider community in the Hutt Valley and Upper Hutt. With our team of GPs, practice nurses, and receptionists, and a wide range of additional services available in the centre or just nearby, we provide complete primary health care under one roof. Silverstream Health Centre offers a strong orientation and training plan to support you in your new role.

This role will predominantly be in Silverstream, however there will be opportunity to work at **The Doctors Muritai** set in Eastbourne. Muritai is a small close knit team assisting the Eastbourne community.

The **Receptionist's** main purpose is to provide a welcoming face for the organisation and provide excellent customer care to our patients and their family.

**This is a permanent full time role working 40 hours per week between Monday - Friday.**

**You will bring to the role**:

- Experience in administration and working in teams
- A professional attitude, great customer service and a meticulous eye for detail
- A friendly, motivated and affable attitude
- Enjoy working in a diverse environment
- Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office
- Decision making and problem solving skills
- Honesty, discretion and patient confidentiality

The successful applicant will be flexible with hours, methodical with a systems orientation, and have a good head for numbers as well as good people skills. Previous medical centre receptionist experience is preferred.

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit.
