We are looking for an experienced Release Manager with a passion to deliver world class service, someone who will share our vision for collaboration, partnership and being part of a positive work environment. **Key Accountabilities**: - Maintain the documented Release Management Policy, process, and procedures. - Provides support and guidance to stakeholders to assist them with understanding and complying with the Releases process. - Identifies ways to improve the Release process. - Ensures organisation and team objectives are met by proactively supporting team members. - Provides leadership to the Release Coordinator team. **He aha taau e kawe mai | What you'll bring** Whilst we are looking for skills, knowledge and experience relevant to the role, we also place high importance on your state of mind, the alignment of your values with ours, your ability to contribute to and build high performing teams, and the way that you lead yourself or others.- Service Delivery: Ownership of the New Zealand Police Release Management Framework, driving continual improvement of processes and sound knowledge and understanding of ITIL 4. - Relationship Management: Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that releases comply with agreed processes to protect the integrity of Police's ICT systems. - Quality Management: Be an advocate for Change Management processes to drive successful change and quality implementations minimising the impact for Police - Complex Environment: Experience of working in a complex technical environment with ICT services provided both in house and by external partners, with a mixture of legacy systems and new cloud services. **Whakaritenga motuhake | Special requirements**- Sound knowledge and understanding of ITIL 4. - Understanding and experience working in an Agile environment beneficial - Some experience of Project Management methodologies would be beneficial. - Flexibility as some releases are scheduled out of hours due to demands. This role is set at **Individual Contributor level**, this means your key purpose is "to deliver or enable others to deliver Our Business". We will ask you questions based on "How we will deliver Our Business - Core Competencies" and the appropriate role level, i.e. Individual Contributor.
