**The Opportunity**:
We are currently looking for an aspiring Risk Consultant to join the team in Auckland.

In this role, you will work with others in the team to deliver risk consulting services. Role includes local, regional, and global liaison with broking and consulting colleagues, support of business development, day to day administration of personal risk consulting activities, support of financial and strategic planning and reporting, and delivery of work.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Support junior staff in technical oversight and project management.
- Support coordination of local work allocation, scheduling and delivery. Project management of personal work including engagement, scheduling, reporting and financial.
- Assisting in the delivery of business development and strategic plans.
- Input into QA including peer review, technical methods, etc.
- Undertake consulting work as needed. This may include advice or analysis on risk associated with natural hazards (earthquake, volcano, flood, storm, etc.), fires, explosions, security, construction, reputational risk, cyber, climate change, ESG, etc.
- Developing and delivering communications including technical and marketing documents, broker meetings, client briefings, presentations, team meetings.

**About you**:

- Bachelors’ Degree or similar
- Technical or Engineering degree with consultancy experience would be desirable
- Experience or demonstrable ability of organisational skills.
- Excellent communicator backed with great commercial acumen
- Knowledge or awareness of the insurance sector
- Consultative, approachable and a team player who can work independently were required.

There is the potential for travel (domestic and international) which may require short periods away from Auckland.
