Production Coordinator

**Production Coordinator (Estimator)**:

- Location: Auckland, NZ, 0624- Onsite or Hybrid: OnSite**Babcock New Zealand **are looking for an experienced** Industrial Production Coordinator (Estimator) **to join our Constructive Production team based in** Devonport.**

**About the role**

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for proactively delivering estimation and planning for all delivery projects across the site.

You will provide integral project support from an estimation and planning perspective to ensure ship availability and deadlines are met.

**Key responsibilities**
- Manage Control of Work documents in line with the project schedule, ensuring they are adequate, and hazards are identified and taken account of.
- Pro-actively support delivering project requirements for project and production teams such as, but not limited to, safety walk-arounds, material management, production of technical specifications, providing estimates etc
- Generate complete Work Orders that meet the end users’ expectations in line with key dates and as the project and production team require them.
- Provide consistent reporting to stakeholders.
- Identify, develop, and lead improvement opportunities.
- Support the organisation in improvement initiatives.

**About you**

Due to the nature of the work we do at Babcock, a background in industrial or construction estimation is essential.

You will bring with you demonstrable experience in a similar field, previous Marine project work will be highly regarded.

**Required skills & competencies**
- Proven experience within an engineering field
- Effective communicator across a range of stakeholders.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects whilst keeping focus on the collective end goals
- Strong awareness of Industrial Health & Safety
- _Competent IT skills_
