Mō tēnei tūranga | About this role
The newly-formed Integrated Planning & Monitoring team sits within the Strategy & Integration Unit, which works across Te Poutāhū (Curriculum Centre) to define the strategic outcomes of Te Poutāhū products and services to the sector. The team is responsible for planning, aligning and coordinating programmes for curricula to help ensure seamless delivery to the education sector, providing an integrated overview of progress to support planning, decision making and continuous improvement.
The Lead Integrators will support the development of consistent frameworks and quality processes to monitor the implementation and effectiveness of Te Poutāhū's resources and services. These resources and services support teachers, Kaiako and tumuaki to meet the outcomes set in the curricula. The Lead Integrators will be instrumental in gathering and pulling together information in various forms and from various sources to provide an integrated view of work programmes taking place across Te Poutāhū.

Mōhou ake | About you
To be effective in this pivotal position you will be someone who thrives in a complex environment when juggling multiple work programmes and measuring outcomes against objectives. Able to play to your strengths in either planning or monitoring or both, you will be adept at seeing across programmes of work to be able to analyse and interpret outcomes against objectives in a context of organisational change.
As well as being experienced in planning, monitoring and insight development, you will have demonstrated knowledge of change management practices and methodologies and of managing/supporting and reporting on programmes of work in a complex setting. Agile and responsive, you'll be a collaborative team player who is able to shift mindsets and influence and guide operational decision-making.
You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Māori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Māori. You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public sector.
