Te āhua o Te Tūrunga - The nature of the position_**

This role. reporting to the General Manager Employer and Learner Experience, will strategically continue to develop the learner support framework across a number of industries and oversee the implementation of the learner support business plan. You will ensure parity plans for our priority learners are implemented to narrow Educational Performance indicators gaps versus non-priority learners and develop and support an Employer Support framework to achieve employer readiness for supporting learners in the workplace. In addition, you will work collaboratively across the Te Pukenga network to share expertise and develop best practice with a view of a network of learner and employer support nationwide.

Ngā tino Pūkenga/Whēako - Essential skills/experiences for the role_**
- 5+ years’ experience in education or work-based training
- A strong understanding of work-based learning models (online, on job, on campus)
- Experience in leading teams to develop diagnostic and support programmes in a variety of learning settings
- Experience in vocational literacies and developing holistic approaches to learner success
- Good leadership skills to build team culture and successfully drive collaboration
- Outstanding relationship building ability to ensure effective collaboration with WBL
- Adaptable and forward thinking
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of computer literacy; proficient in Microsoft office suite
