Te āhua o Te Tūrunga - The nature of the position_**

As a Business Division Health & Wellness Coordinator reporting directly to the General Manager People and Culture of Competenz, the incumbent will also ‘dotted line’ report to the Work Based Learning Subsidiary Health and Safety team. Aligning the business divisions of WBL Ltd within the parent organisation of Te Pūkenga will require flexibility and matrix management. This role will be responsible for the health, safety and wellness function for the organisation and provides health, safety and wellness advice as required. The role will chair the Health and Safety and Wellness Committees

- Relevant qualifications and experience in the health and safety field would beneficial
- Strong planning, organising and problem-solving ability
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to ever changing working priorities and requirements
- Knowledge of current health and safety legislation.
- Strong ability to build and maintain trust.
- Excellent communications skills
- Ability to independently achieve work objectives, to meet tight timeframes and to prioritise work to meet organisational requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong customer service mentality showing commitment and accountability
- Able to complete repetitive tasks with a focus on continual improvement
