**Te Whiwhinga mahi - The Opportunity
- Senior Asset Planning Engineer**

This role will focus on working collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders in the development and use of Asset Planning analytics and reports and the analysis and reporting of asset and financial data using various forecasting models, frameworks and tools.
- Providing value-adding Asset Planning, including:

- Growth and demand planning
- Levels of service planning
- Risk and criticality planning
- Lifecycle management planning
- Financial planning
- Improvement planning

**Key Tasks include**
- Delivering value-adding Asset Planning engineering and reporting insights to the Chief Engineer and Asset Management group and other key stakeholders of the Asset Planning team.
- Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to improve the value of AT data and evidence.
- Support internal and external stakeholders in the purpose and use of key Asset Planning reports, tools and models.
- Identifying development opportunities.
- Leading agreed developments.
- Managing professional service contracts.

**Ko koe tēnei | About you**
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related discipline
- Minimum 10 years Local Government business acumen
- Minimum three years analysis and reporting of complex data
- Microsoft Excel, including macros
- Microsoft Access (or equivalent)
- Experience in Developing and implementing Microsoft Power-BI reports and SQL
- It would be desirable to have an understanding of SAP RAMM SPM and /or INFOR Suite
