**Vision For Role**
As Solution Consultant you will be working with the Qrious Sales, Technology, and Delivery teams to understand client needs and to design and sell solutions that address these needs. You will work closely with the Technology and Consulting teams to develop a deep understanding of the leading capabilities and technologies we have at Qrious, and across the Spark Business Group, to best position these for solutions that deliver real value for our clients.
This role is critical within Qrious and is the key link between Customers and the Technology and Consulting teams. You will work alongside some of New Zealand's best Data Scientists, Engineers and Architects and be able to clearly articulate what each of these areas covers as well as how each can be used to deliver valuable outcomes for our customers.
**Functional Responsibilities**
This role is part technical, part sales, part delivery, and part evangelical. You are the face of Qrious' capability and expertise in the market, and you are responsible for designing fit-for-purpose and profitable solutions that solve real client problems. Sometimes it's people, sometimes it's technology, solutions at Qrious can come in all sorts of shapes and sizes.
Building strong relationships with people at Qrious, with stakeholders across the Spark Group of companies, with our strategic partner vendors, and with our customers is key. You are encouraged and supported to grow these relationships as part of your role.
You will be comfortable presenting in front of senior audiences and be able to distil complex technology into simple explanations. You'll have a background in engineering or architecture and you're the type of person that regularly finds themselves as the conduit between technical and business teams - understanding the complexity but communicating with simplicity.
The majority of your time will be spent working alongside our Senior Consultant along with our Business Development team building relationships, understanding client requirements and then designing solutions and building proposals with good deal architecture.
You don't need to understand every aspect of what our teams do, but you do need to know how it can be applied and what it would mean for a customer. You also need to be able to recognise when to bring Subject Matter Experts into a conversation and coordinate the way in which they contribute to an opportunity.
**Experience & Qualifications**
**Mandatory**
- 5+ years working in the technology industry, preferably with an architecture background.
- Experienced Agile practitioner.
- Experience working with and/or selling Business Intelligence or Analytics tools, software, or solutions.
- Strong Presentation Skills.
- Passion for technology.
- Experience designing public cloud-based solutions (AWS and/or Azure in particular).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive, high energy and driven individual with a desire to be part of a high-performing team and culture.
**Desirable**
- Experience designing or working with Big Data Solutions.
- Experience designing or working with Data Warehousing Solutions.
- Successful implementation of AI solutions.
