**Location**:Palmerston North **Listed**: Thursday, 24 August **Type**: Permanent + part-time - Industry: About the Trust - The Ozanam House Trust provides exceptional accommodation and support services for cancer patients and their caregivers, while undergoing oncology treatment at The Regional Cancer Treatment Service - Palmerston North Hospital. Patients are referred from all over the lower North Island, for treatment on an out-patient basis at the Hospital, creating a need for somewhere comfortable to stay for the duration. This is a need that The Ozanam House Trust is proud to fulfil - with a deliberate approach of creating a 'home away from home" experience. About the role - Exercising your diverse mix of capabilities, this role will continue to engage and challenge you. Your primary focus is to drive the mission, vision and purpose of the Ozanam House Trust, ensuring the delivery of their Charitable objectives. This is a part time role, with flexibility as to how that is structured, approximately 24 hours per week. A handover will be facilitated, and full support given to get up to speed quickly. The Overview: - Leadership -_ - Motivate and manage the Ozanam team of 7. From recruitment to engagement and training, you will set the vision, and guide their development - empowering them to actively contribute to delivery outcomes. - Financial Acumen -_ - Overseeing and maintaining the long-term financial viability of the trust, including budget planning/management, managing the Trust's investment portfolio, presenting quarterly financial reports, and collaborating with external providers (e.g. Auditors, Accountants and Investment Advisors). - Statutory Compliance -_ - Building WOF, H&S Requirements, IRD Requirements, Insurances and Annual Financial Reports - filing with various agencies. - Board - Advisory/Secretarial -_ - Collaboration with the board to arrange important dates, set agendas, present reports and manage minutes. Assist with annual Chairman's Report. - Facilities Management -_ - Overarching management of the facilities, focused on operation effiencies and guest experience. Ensuring high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, maintenance, and appropriate services are provided. - Policies + Promotion -_ - A forward-thinking approach to the ever-changing landscape of patient support and services in the Health sector. Leveraging strong relationships within external agencies, to stay current with any developments that impact the Trust's strategic plan.
