The National Public Health Service (NPHS) within Health NZ, work towards Pae Ora (healthy futures) for all by engaging with the wider determinants that impact people - s health, focusing on oranga/wellbeing, prevention, protection, and population-level intervention. We are connected across boundaries to deliver public health services that are nationally planned, regionally delivered and locally tailored.
We have a permanent, full-time opportunity available to join our team as Senior Enforcement Officer. This role is critical in leading the enablement of the delivery team for tobacco and vaping team supporting the NPHS strategic agenda for Pae Ora (Healthy Futures) with compliance activities related to Smokefree Environments and Regulated Products Act 1990. The role will see you leading and overseeing action in accordance with our national strategy, plan and evidence-based approach to compliance activity. Leading effectively and managing systems and processes for regional delivery and reporting of compliance activity.
**Mōu | About you**
You are someone with experience in an enforcement role where you have used sound judgement to develop options and provide advice. You will be experienced in regulation or compliance and have worked to support project delivery.

- A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in Law, Health, Public Administration or Compliance
