We’re looking for
someone with
A minimum of ten years’ professional
experience in planning, with at
least five of those years being in a
consultancy environment

A wide range of project experience
that demonstrates sound project
management skills and involvement
in all aspects of planning

Excellent knowledge of the statutory
approval process and awareness of
upcoming legislative changes and
challenges

Excellent communication skills,
together with experience in
community and stakeholder
engagement

Strong people and interpersonal
skills with adaptability, collaboration
and enthusiasm in spades

Experience leading others on projects
and within the office environment

The ability to think conceptually and
focus on wide-ranging or long-term
implications

A thirst for knowledge and a drive to
take on new challenges

A Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s
Degree in a Planning related field

Full membership of the NZ Planning
Institute

- and Marlborough regions (Te Tau Ihu / Top of the South) we are looking for

- presence. We’ll do this carefully to ensure we have a great foundation and

- We are looking for experienced Planners who can develop enduring client
- relationships to grow our planning services, and be involved in all types of
- planning projects. As part of this role, you will:
- Lead a range of challenging and interesting projects, with accountability

for the achievement of key milestones, agreed deliverables and quality
planning outcomes.
- Have a track record of success as a work generator, with a good market

profile (especially locally).
- Provide high level professional advice, including input into multi
- disciplinary projects and policy initiatives.
- Cultivate strong working relationships with both internal team members

and clients.
