Our client is a highly regarded Security company that spans across the nation. Their Palmerston North office have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager to join their team and offer high level support to the Regional Manager.

**As an integral member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for**:

- Successful delivery of sizable projects from within the Security Industry
- Extensive HR management experience
- Highly conscientious in regards to Health and Safety protocols within the security sector
- Strong technical, operational and planning abilities
- Managing internally digitised processes

Providing security services that stretch across the Manawatu region, and being an exciting 24/7 industry a high level of flexibility will be required as days and hours will vary and may include evenings and weekends.

Prior experience in the Security Industry or a related field is highly desirable. Furthermore, a solid understanding of logístical processes and labour hire services would be advantageous and will also assist with the level of service you can provide.

The operations of this business rely heavily on utilising a range of software that records data, movements, time sheets and analysis. Confidence and proficiency in using and learning new software is a must.

**Ideally, you will be able to offer proven experience in**:

- Smooth and Proficient Project Management across large establishments and areas
- Ensuring exceptional attention to detail, ensuring no aspect of planning is missed
- Ability to lead, motivate and mentor a high volume of staff, from different backgrounds
- Planning and managing H&S plans and protocols within a Security environment
- Previous experience in staff training would be preferred however, training will be offered in this area.

As with such a highly regarded and demanding role, attitude and demeanour will be the success factor. Keeping calm and being able to follow procedures in highly stressful situations is essential.
