We have an exciting new opportunity available to join our Albany based Support Centre as a **Head of Merchandise Services.**

As part of our Merchandise Team, you will provide strategic leadership to the Merchandise team in line with Mitre 10’s merchandising strategy and policies, in order to maximise value for all critical stakeholders and achieve agreed business objectives, sales and profit budgets.

**Reporting to the Chief Merchandise Officer, your key functions will include**:

- Lead your team in line with our Mitre 10 leadership principles, ensuring your team understands how their role contributes to the wider business strategy and that you role model our values
- Promotional process and managing core range compliance process inside support centre and supporting stores.
- Develop strong relationships with the Mitre 10 Membership**.**:

- Ensure master data alignment, strong data quality, and clear data requirements
- Support the merchandise team with financial performance reporting, promotional analytics, data analytics and range performance.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Extensive experience (10 years+) in a similar role as a senior people leader, working in a complex environment.
- Exceptional coaching and leadership skills.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Deep understanding of retail and trade customers.
- A high EQ, self-awareness, personal resilience and ability to influence at all levels.
