**The role**

We are looking for an experienced manager to come join our friendly Rotorua team. In this role you will run the day-to-day operations of our busy centre and use your knowledge and expertise to guide and inspire your team to deliver the best outcomes for our valued customers. As the centre manager you will be involved in a variety of tasks to achieve/exceed the required performance standards in product sales, customer service standards, risk and compliance management and other operational and business objectives.
- Ensure all product income levels are achieved in line with Centre contribution reports
- Manage Salary and Wage expenses (FTE levels) to budget
- Control expenditure to ensure the centre meets its budgeted requirements.
- Ensure all administrative and operating functions are completed daily, particularly cash handling/daily banking and NZTA daily batching etc.
- Provide leadership and direction to all staff using effective communication that engages the team positively
- Be responsible for recruitment, induction, training and development, performance management of all centre staff

**About you**

Ideally you will come from customer focused environment such as retail, insurance or the banking sector and have a natural ability to motivate others. You can build relationships with internal and external stakeholders with ease, and you must be comfortable up rolling your sleeves up and working with the team.
- Good computer literacy in MS Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in culture of customers' needs based selling
- A demonstrated customer focussed ethos
- Demonstrated ability to balance competing priorities
