**About this role**:
The Group Manager of Community Experience contributes to the leadership of the overall Council organisation as a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
This key role will provide the Chief Executive, SLT, and Elected Members with quality strategic advice on community experiences.
The role will lead and manage a diverse portfolio of community-focused programmes and facilities our communities use and the services we provide them.
**What it does**:
Our Group Manager - Community Experience will lead a large team acroass a diverse range of community assets such as parks and recreation spaces, the museum and library, culture and heritage and civic events.
The role is also responsible for our ccustomer centre as the first point of contact with our community and will deliver formal and informal engagement with our residents in a planned and strategic manner.
