Calcuuta Transport Ltd is looking for 2 enthusiastic energetic logging & Container truck drivers.

The applicants for this position must hold NZ class 5 drivers license or equivalent if overseas license. We are based in Papamoa This is a full time permanent position 32 hours per week. We offer hourly wage rates from $30 /hr successfull applicants will be required to work from Monday to Friday ( Saturday optional) and able to perform following tasks:

- Be punctual and reliable a can-do attitude and a willingness to get the job done.
- Ensure that vehicle has current COF and RUC is up to date.
- Have attention to details to be able to follow log safety requirements and verify loading dockets.
- manoeuvring vehicles into position for loading and unloading
- loading and unloading vehicles using lifting and tipping devices
- observing safety requirements when loading and unloading vehicles
- making regular quality checks of vehicles to ensure they can be driven safely
- estimating weights to comply with load limitations and ensuring safe distribution of weight
- ensuring goods are stowed and securely covered to prevent loss and damage
- verifying loading documents checking condition of goods and obtaining certification of deliveries
- Drive Heavy Trucks for logging & contrainers throuyghtoput the north island depends of load deleivery site.
