JJ Holdings Ltd is seeking a reliable and motivated Truck Driver to join our growing team. This is a permanent full-time role with a minimum of 30 hours per week, transporting general freight across the North Island.

We are offering a competitive hourly rate of $27.00 - $32.00 (depending on experience and skill level), plus meal allowance and other benefits.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Carry out daily vehicle inspections including mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment checks.
- Ensure Road User Charges (RUC), Registration, Service, and Certificate of Fitness (COF) are current.
- Complete logbooks accurately and on time.
- Secure all loads appropriately and in compliance with safety standards.
- Drive safely at all times, observing speed limits, weather, traffic, signage, and road conditions.
- Report traffic infringements, incidents, accidents, or vehicle damage immediately to your manager.
- Maintain trucks in a clean, safe, and professional condition.
- Assist with road maintenance and construction activities as required.

**Requirements**:

- Clean and current truck driver’s licence (Overseas licence is acceptable)
- Good level of physical fitness, stamina, and dexterity.
- Ability to lift heavy objects.
- Strong communication skills and tidy personal presentation.
- Reliability, eagerness, and willingness to learn new skills.
- Availability to work Monday - Sunday (roster-based shifts).
- Sound knowledge of health and safety standards.
- Ability to pass a compulsory drug test.
