We are looking for two Truck Drivers to work full-time in the Bay of Plenty region.

Joining R&T Transport is more than just taking on a new job. You'll be an essential part of the team, ensuring all of our online shopping deliveries safely right to our customer's doorstep.

The ideal candidate must have good customer service skills, be presentable and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.

Truck Drivers are expected to work a minimum of 32 hours a week with a weekly payroll. Hours are rostered on a weekly basis and might include weekend shifts.

Pay Rate: $ $ 24.00

Job Responsibilities:

Safely operate a truck to transport goods to customer locations.

Deliver goods on time and in excellent condition.

Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely and professional delivery of goods.

Navigating driveways, hills, stairs and more to get our customers' orders to their doors.

Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pick-ups.

May need to help load the truck.

Inspect and maintain the truck regularly to ensure it is in good working condition.

Maintain a clean and organised truck interior and exterior.

Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines.

Job Requirements:

  1. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  2. 4+ Years of class 3 and 4 vehicle driving experience.
  3. Minimum Level 5 or equivalent qualification Transport or Logistics.
  4. Class 4 Licence is a MUST.
  5. Good time management skills and ability to meet delivery schedules.
  6. Physically fit and able to lift up to 35 kgs.
  7. Familiarity with transportation regulations and safety guidelines.
