Do you have a passion for designing and developing effective digital and blended learning experiences? Cognition Learning Group (parent company of Wavelength Learning) is one of New Zealand and Australia’s leading digital learning agencies, working across both the education sector and workplace learning and development. We’re in an exciting period of growth and we’re looking for the right person to lead design and delivery teams.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Leading the learning design, digital design and project delivery teams
- Overseeing the design and development of innovative learning solutions, providing quality assurance across all products and services
- Driving and promoting user-centric design methodologies
- Identifying sales opportunities, both client and product based, including opportunities for innovation
- Supporting the proposal development process, overseeing solution design and attending client briefings
- Establish, drive, and continually improve quality assurance processes across all projects and products, ensuring products deliver on learning outcomes and meet client expectationsEnsuring the successful delivery of all projects
- Bachelor/masters level degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. design or digital media, psychology, communications, organisational development, management, education).
- 5 + years relevant work experience as a Senior learning consultant, learning and development manager, or creative director level, preferably in corporate L&D.
- Proven experience at conducting needs analysis, creating concepts, and leading solution development for both simple and complex projects.
- Significant experience leading user-centred design processes and methodologies (e.g. Human Centred Design, Design Thinking, Lean Startup, etc)
- Demonstrated ability to successfully lead creatives and designers and give constructive feedback during the design and development process.
- Demonstrated ability to lead the creation of innovative solutions.
- Experience with industry-relevant software, including Adobe Creative Cloud, eLearning authoring tools, and common LMS/LRS platforms.
