**About the role**:
This role is new. It’s an integral part of a significant shift within the People & Culture Group and an exciting time to join a newly formed team. You’ll be using your prior experience to help lift the capability and build technical depth of practitioners across People and Culture, as well as providing insights to continually improve our people’s experience of working with ACC.
This role can be based at one of our main hubs in Auckland, Hamilton, or Wellington.
**About you**:
We are looking for one of the Principal Advisors to have a particular responsibility for, and background in, leadership from an organisaitonal development perspective. For example, you will lead the development of our leadership philosophy that will answer the question “What does it meant to be a good leader at ACC?” within the context of a new ACC Strategy. To be successful in this work, you will have experience in current state assessment, gap analysis, development of proposals for change, and evaluation.
We need someone who can really understand the best fit for our new strategy - suggesting leadership models and practices that recognise our commitment to partnership under Te Tiriti o Waitangi and are informed by current approaches to equity, diversity and belonging.
You will have:
- Significant experience in organisational development roles focused on leadership, or experience across a number of large-scale change programmes that have involved shifting the dial from a leadership perspective
- Confident facilitation skills, able to run workshops, focus groups and development cohorts
- A good research background - using qualitative and quantitative data to inform your decisions
- An ability to build strong connections with others and lean into challenging conversations
- A desire to enhance ACC’s people experience and know when this is achieved
- Exceptional communication skills to engage with others and prepare fit for purpose strategies, policies and guidelines. Clear and concise communication
**Working at ACC**:
The base salary range for this role is $134,001 to $189,178 with starting salary depending on skills and experience of the successful applicant. ACC also offers additional 9% superannuation.
