**The Opportunity**:
Tuaropaki Trust is an exciting Māori land organisation with an asset base of over $1 billion. The Trust was formed by 297 families amalgamating their land in the 1950s. Beginning in sheep and beef farming, the Trust was an early developer of geothermal power and now has a diverse portfolio including a geothermal power station, hydrogen energy production, engineering and drilling services, native plant nursery, sustainability centre, as well as dairy, beef and sheep farming. The Trust also has investments in the US and Canada. At the core of this organisation is a desire to drive prosperity for their owners and their families, so there is a strong focus on whānau, the future and sustainability.
**What the position will involve**:

With the increasing growth and movement across the business, the Program Design and Delivery Assistant reports to the General Manager, Culture and Legacy and will provide professional administrative support to the Program Design and Delivery Lead, whilst contributing to the cultural and social capital critical to the sustainability of the Trust. From time to time you will support the wider Cultural and Legacy team by providing general administration duties, perhaps assisting with events, meetings, various programmes needs and some database management.
Project management skills will be valued and an empathy and interest in supporting the Programme Design and Delivery Lead with the educational programmes, the Trust’s History project, and the Sites of Significance work.
As part of promoting Tuaropaki Trust’s goals and organisational values you will enjoy developing and maintaining effective and helpful relationships with the stakeholders.

If you are an Assistant who loves to be busy, organising, supporting, keeping things running smoothly, have high attention to detail and enjoy autonomy, then this is the role for you You will need at least intermediate competency with the Microsoft suite. Ideally you will be competent in Te Reo Māori me ngā tikanga Maori and tertiary qualified.
