**About the role**

Within our busy Centre you will provide a high standard of administrative support to our staff and support students studying IT. You will present a professional and friendly welcome to students and visitors and contribute to the effective and efficient operation of the Centre.

This is part-time role, 18.75 hours per week.

It is essential that you are:

- A supportive person who is capable of dealing with anything that may come your way and willing to learn and help out when required
- Someone with a positive and welcoming nature, enthusiastic, self-motivated, who enjoys working in a fun environment
- A self-manager with well-developed time management skills
- Someone with great interpersonal skills who can relate well to a wide variety of people and cultures
- Strong attention to detail and proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, especially Word, Excel and Outlook
- A team player, exhibiting flexibility and the ability to adapt to change
- Someone who can manage competing tasks and work well under pressure with interruptions

Experience working in a tertiary environment or studying IT are preferred but not essential.
