Located just a stone’s throw away from the serene waterfront in the Quay Park precinct, Adina Apartment Hotel Auckland Britomart is recruiting a full-time Housekeeping Supervisor
About the role.
As the Housekeeping Supervisor you will lead by example - take pride in doing a thorough and meticulous job You leave no stone unturned or bed unmade
Responsibilities include (not limited to).
- Examine rooms to ensure they are cleaned to the required standard and rooms are released to front office in a timely manner.
- Coach and train team members in expected brand and service standards.
- Ensure housekeeping trolleys, equipment and storerooms are maintained.
- Examine guest rooms and public areas to determine need for repairs or replacement of furniture or equipment and inform Management.
- Maintain effective communication at end of shift to ensure a smooth transition for the next shift.
- Resolve guest complaints in a timely and professional manner, referring them to a senior manager if necessary.
- Take ownership of making sure everything is done to the point of completion, ensuring consistent guest and colleague satisfaction.

About You
- Previous experience in housekeeping as a supervisory/team leader.
- High level attention to detail
- Experience in supervising and effectively motivating a team
- Excellent grooming and presentation
- A service orientated style with consistent delivery of customer service
- Good prioritizing and time management skills
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Availability to work rostered shifts, weekends, and peak periods
- Hold a valid NZ work visa or a be a permanent resident of New Zealand
