This is an amazing 12-month part-time contract or permanent part-time role for a Senior Art Director for 22.5 hours per week to work remotely - however, you will need to be based in or around Auckland to attend meetings as required.

In this role, you will work independently and lead a tight-knit team of in-house and freelance content professionals to plan, produce and deliver high-quality creative outputs for clients.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
You will be responsible for delivering Creative Content. You can translate client briefs accurately and will work closely to translate marketing objectives into innovative and creative products. You will determine project needs and resources from conception to completion to successfully deliver the technical and functional requirements for all projects.

You will establish, manage and maintain the creative direction and goals for specific projects ensuring they fit the client, brand, and business objectives. You will regularly ensure all outputs are the best possible demonstration of your creative capabilities.

You can evaluate and alter the content of projects before completion. You are efficient and can work with budget and deadline expectations to manage resources. When required you can also turn your hand to Direct/Shoot and/or oversee photo and video shoots including planning, preparation (steer or write scripts, headlines, captions, and storyboards), crewing, logistics (schedules), on-site production activities, and post-production inputs/outputs.

Leadership is a key part of the role - you will continually inspire, support, motivate, direct and lead a high-performing creative team. Key to that is the ability to maintain a positive work environment and working relationships at all times. You will act as a mentor, overseeing their ideas and continued development and lead the team and client brainstorming sessions to develop innovative and creative marketing experiences.

You are collaborative and have great presentation skills, can articulate campaign strategies and solutions, and keep clients abreast of project progress.

Ultimately you are a big-picture thinker with a clear creative vision. You bring a minimum of 10 years of Art Direction experience in marketing/advertising. To be successful working remotely you must have a strong work ethic, with experience of successfully delivering results. You are an adaptable and authentic manager, open to opinions and concepts, with the ability to engage colleagues with the final creative direction. Your wider team will see you managing creative professionals including editors, animators, videographers, photographers and copywriters.

You will be a proficient expert in Graphic Design, Adobe Creative Suite, and Adobe After Effects, and a demonstrable passion for social media is a must.
