Crowne Plaza Auckland are looking for full-time **Front Office Specialists** to join us on our journey as we have re-opened to the public You can impact our guest's journey from start to finish.
**Your day to day**
The moment a guest steps into one of our hotels, they walk into a genuinely memorable experience. As a Guest Experience Specialist, you'll not only be the person they rely on to handle transactions, offer local insights and anticipate every detail of a friction-free experience, you'll also create the warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home in any location.
- Acknowledge IHG One Rewards Club members and returning guests
- Take and manage bookings, up-selling opportunities
- Handle cash and credit transactions
- Be a trusted contact for all guests
- Check in and check out procedures
- Stay one step ahead of guest's needs - record and act on their preferences
**What we need from you**
- Communication skills
- Problem solving skills
- High attention to detail
- Experience using a hotel PMS system is advantageous for the role
- Fluency in local language - extra are great but not essential
- Flexibility with your shifts - we are a 24/7 operating business
- Previous experience in a front desk or guest service position is beneficial but not essential
- Previous experience in a customer service facing role
