**Mō te Tūranga | About the Role**

We spoke with our Head of Product Transformation Design (who you'd report to), and he let us know the following about the tūranga (role):
**What are 5 day to day tasks the person in this role will complete?**
- Lead process design within the key Core Banking transformation projects.
- Deliver end to end process improvements: identifying and implementing process optimisation opportunities that deliver value for colleague, customer and bank, align to strategic outcomes and comply with risk processes and frameworks.
- Support the enablement of automation and workflow technologies and potential benefit realisation as appropriate within End-to-End process team deliverables (i.e., Pega, robotics) and work closely with Technology and business partners to ensure benefit realisation.
- Establish and maintain strong stakeholder engagement that ensures clarity and alignment.
- Ensure the success of process optimisation effective change management and any post implementation activity required that ensures realisation of benefits.

This newly created Process Design Lead role has been created to simplify the colleague and customer experience by delivering business process improvements & enable the growth of continuous improvement and process excellence across key transformation processes.

This position offers a chance to support the evolution of BNZ's business processes improvement capability. You will be a key part of ensuring new trends and industry best practice is adopted where appropriate.

**What attributes will this person display in order to be successful in this role?**

This lead role requires an inquisitive mindset, and readiness to constructively challenge the status quo. You will also have;
- Minimum 5 years experience delivering process improvement and/or transformational change
- Delivered measurable process improvement using continuous improvement methodologies (i.e. Business Process Re-engineering, Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, etc)
- Has led and delivered projects end to end, from problem diagnosis through to implementation, including risk management
- Proven ability to lead cross functional teams, influence without authority, and work collaboratively with a broad group of stakeholders
