**Full Job Description**
- Full-time, Monday-Friday
- Long-Standing practices with supportive teams
- On-the-job training with good peer support
This position will require you to rotate between chair-side assisting with a range of dental treatments, sterilizing and cleaning, and reception duties.
**Tasks & responsibilities**
- You will be responsible for Assisting the Dentists in the surgery, autoclaving equipment, scheduling appointments, processing payments and responding to patient enquiries.
- We are looking for a highly motivated person to join our new dental team. This role requires the successful applicant to provide high quality customer service to patients.
- take responsibility for instrument sterilisation and infection control,
- assisting them with diverse and interesting dental procedures during patient appointments.
- Provide exceptional patient care and assist Dentists.
- Recording treatment info in patient records.
- Processing digital dental x-rays.
- Providing postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist.
- Participate in the planning + treatment presentation and follow-up for patient care.
- Lots of empathy and a patient-centric approach.
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant not necessary, but advantageous.
- On-the-job training with good peer support
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 30-35 per week
**Salary**: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour
