This exciting company is based in Auckland, and we are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our team. Typically, our consultants are based on client premises therefore employees need to be prepared to travel around Auckland for client projects.
**Salary**: Base pay 70K plus bonus for total package up to 125K
**Hours**: 40 hours per week, Work from home.
**Role - Full Stack Developer**
Looking for an innovative Senior Software Developer to be part of the driving force behind the design, development, maintenance, and support of internal and external solutions. You will interface across the organisation and between teams, so your exceptional communication abilities, agile mindset and collaborative ethos will be crucial to your success.
You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. As a Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries.
**Objectives of the role**
- Work across the full stack, building highly scalable distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth
- Develop new features and infrastructure development in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements
- Assume leadership of new projects from conceptualization to deployment
- Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning opportunities
- Participate in all aspects of agile software development including design, implementation, and deployment
- Architect and provide guidance on building end-to-end systems optimized for speed and scale
- Engage with inspiring designers and front-end engineers, and collaborate with leading back-end engineers as we create reliable APIs
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- Highly skilled in one programming language (core Java,.Net or C# or other related programming language)
- Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs
- Excellent debugging and optimization skills
- Unit/integration testing experience
- Experience in estimation, planning, review, code QA
- Work as a guide to development team, QA, ensure detail design and implementation aligns to architecture proposed
- Good experience of Agile delivery environments & project delivery approaches
- Skilled in understanding client requirements & defining specifications
- Good understanding of implementation & migration of systems
**Technical Skills - Desirable**
- Java, Spring, Microservices, JavaScript (Angular, React, Vue)
- .Net
- C#
- SQL and MongoDB
- Jenkins, JIRA
- Git, Postman, SOAP UI, TOAD
**Desirable**
- IT/Computer Science Degree
- Experience working as a consultant in a small to mid-size consulting company
- At least 5 years’ experience
**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
