**He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role**
We have an exciting opportunity for someone that is looking for a part-time permanent role as part of our friendly & supportive Speech and Language Therapy team at Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty.
This position is 12 hours per week, based in Tauranga, but you may be required to provide support in Whakatāne. The primary focus is paediatrics, but you may need to work from time to time to cover acute adult inpatients and outpatient clinics.
The position would suit a clinician with extensive paediatric dysphagia training and clinical experience. You will work within a close team that provide speech language therapy services to both inpatients and outpatients in clinic and community settings.
You will need a sound knowledge of the use of informal and formal assessment tools, excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work well within a team to achieve client focused goals and a focus on evidence-based practice.
**He Korero mōu - About You**
- 2-5 years of experience
- New Zealand Speech Therapy Association (NZSTA) membership
- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Speech Language Therapy from an NZSTA -accredited programme; or have a NZSTA approved qualification.
- Experience performing and interpreting video fluoroscopy swallowing studies and FEES in adults
- Experience working within a inter-disciplinary team working towards patient focused goals
- Experience working in a health setting
- A current valid full New Zealand drivers licence
