**He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role**

We have an exciting opportunity to join our friendly and supportive team at Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty, based in Tauranga.

This position is fixed term full-time covering parental leave for 12 months.

You will work within a close team that provide speech language therapy services to adults.

You will need a sound knowledge of the use of informal and formal assessment tools, excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work well within a team to achieve client focused goals and a focus on evidence-based practice.
- To be a member of the New Zealand Speech Therapy Associate (NZSTA)
- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Speech Language Therapy from an NZSTA - accredited programme; or have a NZSTA approved qualification
- Experience performing and interpreting video fluoroscopy swallowing studies and FEES
- Experience working within a inter-disciplinary team working towards patient focused goals
- A current valid full New Zealand drivers licence

- Experience in a hospital setting working on acute wards and in a rehab setting
- Flexibility to work across various hospital clinical areas as directed dependent on service need
- Passion and a drive to make a real difference through your work and have a strong cultural awareness
