**About the Role**

Nau mai We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the team at Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty and live in the beautiful Bay of Plenty.

We are seeking a passionate Speech Language Therapist who will provide outstanding Speech Language Therapy care to adult inpatients and outpatients. This is a fixed term part-time position from 18 May 2025 to 12 June 2026 to cover maternity leave. Hours to be worked are 32 hours per week.

**About the Team/Service/ Location**

The Speech Language Therapist’s based at Tauranga Hospital are a small team of dedicated clinicians who provide quality care for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The team is fortunate to have highly experienced clinicians across a wide range of SLT specialties. With clinical leads appointed to both adults and paediatrics, there is much opportunity for clinical growth, development and mentorship.

**About you**
- Qualified Speech Language Therapist with membership of NZSTA
- Sound knowledge of the use of formal and informal assessment tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well within a team to achieve patient and whānau focused goals
- Focus on evidence-based practice
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
