**Position Overview**:
Verra Mobility is hiring a Technician who will be part of a fast paced, high growth traffic enforcement technology company. You will calibrate, analyze, troubleshoot and maintain automated traffic enforcement systems, field WAN networks and surveillance equipment. You will also document, install, upgrade or replace hardware and software systems as needed. You will be traveling independently to locations where you will work with subcontractors, clients and Verra Mobility engineering staff to install and maintain red light camera and speed enforcement systems in the field.

**Essential Responsibilities**:

- Understand and adhere to all Redflex policies, standards, processes and procedures defined in the Quality and OHS Manuals; including Redflex's Guiding Principles.
- Adhere to Redflex's Health & Safety Policy.
- Ensure that all maintenance activities are undertaken in accordance with Redflex workplace health, safety, environment quality policies and procedures to ensure the safety of all employees and contractors.
- Observes relevant safety and security standards, report on potential risks / hazards, and determine appropriate corrective actions.
- Supply weekly progress reports to Supervisor and attend team meetings as requested.
- Assist Projects team with Installation and commissioning of Redflex's systems.
- Preventative and remedial maintenance of Redflex's systems.
- Ensure Daily/Weekly checks of Camera Systems are documented and produced as requested.
- Participate in new installations and provide support to project engineering upon request by management.
- Work collaboratively with internal staff.
- Handle technical enquiries, where unable to personally resolve, routes questions and problems of a technical nature appropriately.
- Assist supervisor to engage and co-ordinate contractors, plant & equipment hire.
- Communicates effectively with internal & external customers regarding scheduling, progress and follow-up.
- Travel away from home may be required.

***Qualifications**:

- Intermediate IT experience and/or qualifications
- 1-2 years experience in electronics repair and/or qualifications
- Relevant field experience.
- Full Class 1 Drivers Licence
