**Hours for this role**:
- Monday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Tuesday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
We’re looking for a reliable, motivated Part-Time Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our friendly team at Lumino Main Street.
In this multi-trained role, you’ll be an essential part of keeping our practice running smoothly ,supporting our clinicians chairside and ensuring every patient has a warm, professional experience from the moment they walk in.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing chairside support to clinicians during a variety of dental procedures
- Managing instrument sterilisation and maintaining infection control standards
- Greeting patients, managing appointment bookings, and handling payments
- Assisting with patient enquiries both in person and over the phone
- Supporting day-to-day operations to ensure a seamless patient experience
- Contributing to a positive, team-focused practice culture
You’ll enjoy the satisfaction of helping patients feel comfortable and cared for — and the variety of working both front-of-house and behind the scenes with a supportive, experienced team.
**Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant and/or Receptionist (preferred)
- Experience in sterilisation or infection control (advantageous)
- A warm, positive, and professional attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confidence using computers and learning new systems quickly
- A genuine passion for helping people and contributing to a team environment
