**How You’ll Make an Impact**

In this role, you'll provide essential support to our clinical team—ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient care every day. Your work behind the scenes will play a key role in helping patients feel safe, welcome, and well looked after.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms
- Cleaning, sterilising, and organising instruments to strict infection control standards
- Supporting the dental team chairside as needed
- Creating a calm, professional environment for both patients and colleagues
- Helping to ensure the smooth daily operation of the practice

In this vital role, you’ll be an essential part of a close-knit, supportive team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.

Your responsibilities will include cleaning, sterilising, and maintaining dental instruments and equipment, accurately monitoring and recording sterilisation processes, and supporting infection control procedures across the clinic. You’ll help ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and assist with stock management. Beyond your sterilisation duties, you’ll support clinical staff by preparing treatment rooms and assisting with patient transitions between appointments. With training provided, you may also assist chairside during dental procedures and occasionally help out at reception to support smooth day-to-day operations.

Your day-to-day work will help ensure each appointment runs smoothly—from setting up treatment rooms and assisting the dentist during procedures to helping patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their visit. This role demands a sharp eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a naturally caring approach. Whether you’re preparing for treatment or offering reassurance to nervous patients, your contribution is essential to creating a safe, professional, and welcoming environment from start to finish.

**Qualifications** What We’re Looking For**

We’re looking for someone with a positive attitude and a genuine desire to be part of a supportive, team-focused environment. While previous experience as a dental or sterilisation assistant is certainly a plus, it’s not essential—we’re happy to provide full training to the right person.

You’ll thrive in this role if you’re someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and highly organised. You enjoy working as part of a team and take pride in helping others.
