**About this role | Mo tenei turanga**

**As a Senior Education Adviser ECE you will play a critical role in our region's Learning Support team by**:

- Follow Ministry processes to assess regulatory framework when licensing new services, change of management, licensing assessments, complaint or incident investigation, identify non-compliant and gather evidence and make recommendations.
- Work in a collaborative way with key stakeholders to provide timely, accurate, quality implementation advice and support, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and obligations.
- Support the ECE team to provide high quality service to the sector, the Ministry and Government.

**About you | Mohou ake**

To be successful you will need:

- A tertiary qualification in early childhood education or other relevant discipline.
- Understanding of early learning services, early childhood curriculum and licensing criteria for early learning services.
- A full drivers licence
- The ability and willingness to adhere to the Public Service Standards of Integrity and Conduct.
