**About the role**

We are looking for a full time Accounts Officer to join a team in a not for profit organisation.

The purpose of the Accounts Officer position is to manage and maintain the existing accounts receivable and payable system and ensure the integrity of the data being entered is correct.

You will be joining a supportive team who have a genuine interest in sharing knowledge in a busy and sometimes challenging environment.

**What you need**
- Strong communication skills both verbally and written
- Understanding of Accounts payable, receivable, banking and reconciliation
- To be a self-starter with proven initiative
- To be adaptable in a changing environment and workload
- Can-do attitude and with the ability to work autonomously
- To be experienced and efficient in a range of administration and accounts functions including typing and data entry
- Great personality, fantastic people skills and the ability to build relationships
