In this role, you will be responsible for identifying market opportunities and advising on the development, coordination, and implementation of plans for pricing and promoting our goods and services. Job Title: Marketing Officer Location: Hamilton Waikato Employment Type Permanent & Full-time Days required: Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm Hours per week: A minimum of 30 hours a week guaranteed, a maximum of 40 hours a week Number of Vacancies: ONE Key tasks & Responsibilities: - Conduct market research to analyze trends, consumer demands, and competitor sales strategies in Hamilton and online. - Collect and analyze monthly sales data to develop targeted promotional activities. - Identify and segment target customer groups, focusing on Chinese customers both in-store and online, and create sales plans for key events like 618, Double 11, and Double 12. - Design and implement promotional campaigns, monthly discounts, and limited-time offers to boost sales. - Evaluate market demand and competition to determine product positioning, pricing, and inventory strategies. - Optimize online and offline sales channels by suggesting improvements to websites and WeChat mini-programs. - Guide external scriptwriters and content creators in developing social media content to increase brand exposure. - Design and execute targeted social media advertising campaigns to enhance paid content effectiveness. - Research and propose customer loyalty programs based on competitor analysis. - Monitor competitor activities, adjust marketing strategies accordingly, and identify new marketing channels through collaboration with influencers and travel companies. To be right for this role and our organization, you need: - Relevant Bachelor or higher qualification.
