**The Role | Te mahi**

We require an experienced **Food and Beverage Supervisor **to help exceed guest expectations in our Food and Beverage department.

Reporting to the Hotel Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading the team to deliver exemplary service for restaurant, bar, conference and room service. This role also requires support with conference coordination. You will have experience in a similar role in a hotel environment. You will be passionate, well organised, be calm under pressure and have knowledge of the local area.

**Responsibilities | Ngā haepapa**
- Lead the food and beverage service team across all food and beverage outlets including room service, restaurant, bar and conference
- Open and close outlets ensuring effective set up and organisation for shifts
- Create a positive team environment
- Ensure all team members deliver a high level of guest service at all times
- Daily banking and cash up
- Organise cover of team members when required
- Support training and development of food and beverage team including onboarding
- Host Responsibility and Duty Manager for food and beverage service

**Requirements**:
**About you | Ko koe tēnei**
- Experienced in a la carte and buffet restaurant service
- Experienced bartender with excellent knowledge of local wines, beers and cocktail preparation
- Conference Coordination experience preferred
- Experienced in set up of conferences and conference service including use of conferencing IT software
- Previous experience as a team leader or restaurant and bar supervisor on shift
- Attentive and professional
- Competent barista
- Highly organised and plans ahead
- Availability on weekends, public holidays and late evenings
- Valid Right to Work in NZ
