**About the role**

Come and join our future-focused Finance Operations Team responsible for delivering best in class back-office support across Foodstuffs North Island

This entry level role will see you processing wages and salary pay runs for the Foodstuffs Support Office.

Activities will range from review and validation of time records, employee file maintenance through to investigating and resolving staff queries. Once sufficient experience is gained this position will also provide backup support for processing pays directly.

You will be part of a wider team and supported well - with an opportunity to progress within the group. Key focus areas will be:

- Review timesheets & attendance records and correct inaccuracies
- Processing timesheets & calculating additional information
- Data entry of timesheet data
- Update & document processes
- Roster management within PayGlobal
- Editing of staff hours, liaising with Site-based employees & people leaders
- Investigating queries related to wages / staff changes
- Escalation of queries to Payroll Administrators where appropriate
- Assistance with monitoring & management of general queries

**About you**

We are seeking a doer, capable of delivering high volumes of quality work, yet also be flexible and able respond to incoming requests.

You will possibly have some PayGlobal/SAP experience but if not, you must be keen to learn and eager to upskill yourself. Basic knowledge of payroll processes and legislation would be ideal but again, if you have the right attitude and consider yourself a learner - we are happy to bring you up to speed

What we need from you is strong MS office skills - excel specifically and strong attention to detail, excellent data entry and time management You will be highly organised and a great communicator - you will be the one to ‘roll up the sleeves’ and get stuck in.
