**About the Role**

This is a new role and will be responsible for the development and implementation of our Priority Students Ki Uta Ki Tai - Student Success Plan and strategies which achieve AUT goals and facilitate a widening participation approach to recruitment of targeted schools and cohorts of students.

You will be responsible for the development of a suite of NCEA workshops designed in collaboration with partnership schools, to support and uplift attainment of UE across targeted cohorts of students.

In this role you will:

- Build and foster collaborative relationships with the secondary school's sector to co-design a programme that will positively influence outcomes for targeted cohorts of students
- Lead the development and delivery of co-designed NCEA workshops across a range of forums
- Develop a communication strategy specifically for Māori and Pacific students, whānau, communities and iwi
- Build strong relationships both internally and externally to inform the development of workshops and other strategic initiatives
- Undertake projects in collaboration with relevant team members and other stakeholders

**About You**

You will have:

- A sound understanding of the secondary education environment, particularly NCEA is essential
- Excellent relationship management skills, with an ability to build meaningful and collaborative relationships with a range of stakeholders at all levels
- Experience in co-designing programmes of work, with the skills to weave different requirements to best meet the needs of our Māori and Pacific students and their schools
- A drive to succeed in enhancing the educational prospects of our future students, and the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team to deliver desired outcomes
- The ability to connect with people from a diverse range of backgrounds
