About the Role
Hydraulink Sales and Service Technicians (HSST's) provide an invaluable hydraulic hose supply, install, repair and breakdown service to our valued clients across a range of industries.
Our HSST’s receive the industry’s best training - via our own dedicated Hydraulink Training Academy. This training has been designed to ensure you’re well prepared and confident to provide a high-quality hydraulic hose repair service to our customers.
No day is the same Once you are fully trained and ready to hit the road, you’ll get to work on all sorts of big and small machines, lots of diverse mechanical gear and for all sorts of clients in all sorts of places.
It’s an interesting job that allows you to hone your skills and develop them into providing some very rewarding solutions for customers who enjoy working with Hydraulink because of our reputation as an experienced, trusted, and well-respected brand who pride themselves on quality.

About You
**Hydraulink are looking for someone with**:
- Mechanical apptitude and / or at least a few years' experience in a similar role - preferably in an industrial sector
- The capacity to provide a friendly and professional rapid response breakdown service to our customers
- The ability to self-manage and self-motivate
- Willingness to be included in and on-call after hours roster
- The ability to learn, think outside the box and troubleshoot hydraulic and related mechanical engineering problems
- A willingness to build and maintain customer relationships and grow sales in your downtime when you aren’t attending to breakdowns
- Effective communication and the confidence to work well with clients
- The ability to grow business through customer visits
- The ability to undertake manual handling duties - including physical lifting
