**We are looking for Delivery drivers (Class 2) to join our Wellington Logistics division located at Gracefield, Lower Hutt.**

**THE ROLE**: This role involves delivering goods, picking & packing orders, assist with devanning containers, stock management and some admin work.

**THE JOB**:

- Deliver goods according to customer orders.
- Pick pack of goods according to customer orders
- Plan the most efficient delivery route for the assigned deliveries.
- Unload goods at destination in the appropriate place in a timely manner
- Gather any signatures, cash on delivery or credit returns required.
- Fill vehicles with fuel and report on any maintenance requirement
- Perform daily checks - oils, coolant, WOF etc.
- Wash and clean trucks or other vehicles when required.
- Assist in loading the trucks

Days & hours of work:

- Immediate start role.
- Monday to Friday and alternate Saturdays
- Shift timing - 5.00 am to 2.00 pm (approx.)
- 8 hour shifts/ day (approx.).
- Saturday shift
- 5 am to mid-day

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE**: The person we are looking for will be able to work unsupervised to achieve results. You will have
- Class 2 licence drivers licence
- Forklift licence is a bonus
- Have clear communication skills.
- Multitasking ability
- Have reasonably good reading, writing and arithmetic skills.
- Be confident, flexible and have attention to detail.
- Have prior NZ experience and knowledge of basic food ingredients.
- Be physically strong and fit; should be able to lift up to 25 kg.
- Have a great attitude towards work and be fast learner.
- Be a team player with a positive attitude and time management skills.
- Have reliable attendance and transport.

We supply to cafes, restaurants, hotels, manufacturers, retailers, distributors and exporters nationwide with a broad selection of imported and locally manufactured food products. Our core product areas are across fresh produce, dry, frozen and chilled departments.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
