Our Wellington branch based at Upper Hutt has an opportunity for **Class 4 Delivery driver** to join their team. You will be someone who can **drive both Class 4 and 2**. The job involves driving Class 4 for 2 days/week and Class 2 another 2 days of the week. It would be a bonus if you can assist with warehouse pick pack on Saturdays for a few hours.
The days and hours of work are from 5 am to 3 pm (approx.), 5 days per week. Wednesday and Sunday will be rostered days off.

You will be doing deliveries for our customers. The role is full time, permanent and we are located at Maidstone, Upper Hutt.

Job Responsibilities:

- Deliver goods to assigned locations and/or individuals.
- Transporting orders and materials to designated sites, involves driving company vehicles (vans, trucks, etc.).
- Loading/unloading delivery trucks; receiving stock and/or filling orders for transport.
- Maintain delivery vehicles (e.g. checking fluid levels, fuelling, cleaning, etc.); ensure safe operation of vehicle.
- Maintain records (e.g. delivery log, etc.).
- Participate in physical inventories/stock take.
- Assist with general warehouse duties
- have Class 4 (manual) and 2 with relevant driving experience
- If you can pick pack this would be a bonus
- Forklift license is a bonus
- Hold clean driving and criminal record
- Knowledge of basic food ingredients
- Reliable and has excellent reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
- Have confident and friendly phone manner.
- Have basic time management skills are necessary
- Have attention to detail.
- Be physically strong and fit; ability to lift heavy items
- Experience and knowledge in food industry is beneficial
