Our Ophthalmology Service provides high-quality care to patients in the Auckland Region and offers a range of secondary and tertiary services primarily based at Greenlane Clinical Centre. We also provide services at various sites across the Auckland Region. The administration team plays an integral role by providing front-line contact with patients and supporting clinicians in providing a responsive, high-quality service.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated leader to join our team at Greenlane Clinical Centre. This role will work towards continuously improving the team to ensure that timely patient access to services is achieved. Working with the Operations Support Manager and the Business Manager you will provide leadership and effective day-to-day operational management to the relevant teams in line with ADHB’s and the Directorate’s strategy and goals.

**Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills**
- Previous leadership experience in administration / customer service / healthcare
- Excellent communication, organisational skills with the ability to make sound decisions
- Ability to coach, build and maintain a high performing team
- Negotiation and conflict management skills with the ability to facilitate change.
- A strong desire to provide our patients with a quality experience with the ability to empathise and work compassionately with people from various cultures
- Quality focus which includes auditing, reports monitoring, KPIs and collaborating with stakeholders to provide a quality service.
- The ability to provide leadership and to ensure focus on staff wellbeing.
- Ability to work as a part of the team and build strong relationships within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong work ethic and a positive mind set with the ability to problem solve and identify opportunities for improvement
