Our Opportunity
We are recruiting for a Team Leader for our Auckland Freight centre site at Penrose. The primary role of the Team Leader is to ensure the completion of day to day operational requirements in a cost effective and timely manner. The Team Leader will form an integral part of the AFC team and make a strong contribution to a high performing team and culture within Goodman Fielder.
This role involves working Wednesday to Saturday. The shift pattern is:
**Wednesday**: 2pm to 8.30pm

**Thursday to Saturday**: 2pm to 2.30am, the next day

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure the accurate receipt of inbound products and the staging of products within the depot as per relevant operating process.
- Ensure all orders are clearly marked or identifiable and where applicable accompanied by the required documentation.
- Where additional fine picking and sortation is required, that this is completed in an accurate and timely manner i.e. within the performance parameters specified.
- Maintain accurate Dispatch paperwork, enter any shortages in SAP and ensure all documentation is kept up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Load trucks efficiently and safely whilst maintaining product integrity i.e. ensuring zero damage to stock or equipment while loading.
- Ensure product integrity is maintained at all times and report possible non conformances
- Assist with stock counts, Order Management and following up on a missing or delayed order
- Provide coverage for Warehouse Manager when needed.
- Manage the bread, pies, and garlic bread picking team on weekends and any other day when required.
- Ensure adherence to the company's quality programme (RMP) to meet legislative, industry and best practice standards.

We are looking for someone with
- Atelast 2 years of Warehousing experience
- Proven track record in people management
- Experience working in an FMCG or food manufacturing company
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to drive performance
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work in a busy environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
