Admin and Maintenance Officer

The buildings, immediate surrounds and paths are maintained to the highest standard.
- At all times observations are made regarding maintenance requirements and cleanliness
- A specific and regular inspection is made of all buildings and site
- Maintenance and repairs are carried out as soon as possible.
- Maintenance is prioritised to ensure safety concerns are dealt
- with immediately
- Maintenance and mowing of lawns
- Advise the employers of buildings requiring major
- maintenance work
- Building Compliance
- Checking fire hose reels, fire extinguishers, bell system, emergency lights etc on a regular basis
- Liaise with contractors when issues occur
- Keep checks up to date and signed off in manuals in office
- Meet with safety personnel when appropriate
- If alarm activated, identify fire zone, call brigade if required
- Daily compliance signed off Other Maintenance / 10 year plan
- The buildings and site are maintained to the highest standard
- Contact contractors, obtain quotes if necessary, and arrange for repairs. Major works should be done in consultation with the employers
- Ensure work is done to a high standard by the contractor and in a timely manner
- Continue to liaise with contractor until work is complete to satisfaction
- Buildings are painted on a regular cycle per the cyclical maintenance plan
- Inform Executive Officer of work being carried out and when it is completed
- Cleaning the buildings and site are clear of litter and cleaned to the highest standard
- The buildings and site are clear of graffiti and the effects of vandalism. Remove from all buildings as soon as practical
- Deal with storage of equipment, furniture etc
- Coordinate repairs, maintenance, warrant of fitness and cleanliness of the fleet & building
- Contact and liaise with the police and security personnel when necessary
- Have systems, plans and schedules in place to deal with the work on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis
- Carry out work as reported by staff
- Undertake other duties and projects from time to time as
- Oversee and delegate work to contractors
- Responsible for site and buildings Health & Safety
- Identity and report hazards when identified. Eliminate, Isolate or Minimise hazards
- Comply with Health and Safety legislation
