The Auckland Council Geospatial team is seeking an expression of interest for multiple entry level, specialist, and senior roles available across the Geospatial team.
We are a leading organisation in the field of GIS and spatial analysis, dedicated to providing innovative products, data, systems, and solutions for a wide range of stakeholders. Our team consists of highly skilled and experienced professionals who are passionate about using GIS technology to make a positive impact in the Auckland region. Additionally, you will contribute to successful customer outcomes, providing quality advice regarding the use of our technology, data and techniques to solve business problems.

- Bachelor's degree or higher in geography, GIS, or a related field
- Passionate about GIS software and technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills

You will have the opportunity for continuous development working within one of New Zealand’s largest in-house geospatial teams that utilises the latest industry leading technology. You will be involved in a variety of challenging initiatives, working alongside
many other geospatial and IT professionals, delivering cutting edge outcomes for a hugely diverse and cross-functional customer base. Finally, you will be trusted to deliver outcomes and be given freedom to build and develop relationships with customers to give expert advice.
Working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday; you will have a strong hybrid way of working and flexibility with how those hours are spent. Some of our people begin early, some stay later.
